This rich and generous Grand Cru Classé is full of dark fruit and tannins and is ready to drink. It has weight, juicy acidity and black plum and berry flavors. Ripe, with the perfume of Cabernet Franc, it's entering maturity now and should very drinkable until at least 2025.

Soft and early-drinking by the standards of this chateau, which tends to make a more formidable and masculine style in most vintages, Destieux’s 2010 has oodles of berry fruit, loamy soil notes, tobacco leaf, licorice and spice box. It is round, easygoing, and if I hadn’t seen “2010″ on the label, I would have thought it was a 2009. Drink it over the next decade. Robert Parker. February 2013.

Christian Dauriac et son équipe ont tiré le meilleur parti de ce terroir et de son encépagement (80% de merlot), et signent un 2014 expressif et complexe : fruits rouges mûrs, violette, cèdre, menthol, cuir. Une palette qui s'enrichit d'une touche minerale dans une bouche ample, riche et montante, renforcée par des tanins élégants et fermes qui promettent un bel avenir à cette bouteille/

This ripe wine is full of dusty tannins and has a dense structure. These give power to the wine with its concentration and richness. Bright acidity cuts through to give a crisp edge to the ripeness. Drink this dense wine from 2022.

Dark ruby color. A rather floral nose with elegant red fruit and some mineral, earthy notes. Dense palate with intense red fruit flavors, quite high extract but rounded tannin and no harshness, grippy and persistent flavor, elegant fruit and really long finish. Fine potential here.
